Youth Ministry
The EMBC family welcomes our new youth director and his wife, Mitch and Cindy Yerby. Mitch comes to us from Grants Creek Baptist Church where he worked with the college and career group and youth group. Mitch and Cindy have two children, Kayla, age 13, and Austin, age 9.
Please welcome the Yerby family to EMBC and pray for our youth ministry.
COMMUNITY SOUP BOWL—Saturday
, April 25th we will be preparing and serving the meal at the Tuscaloosa Community Soup Bowl. We will be serving about 250 meals. Don’t miss this great ministry opportunity.Please mark Saturday, February 7th on your calendar—we will be going to Winter Jam 2009 in Birmingham at the BJCC. We will leave the church at 2:00 p.m.
World Changers
June 21-27, 2009
We are going to Huntsville, AL for our summer mission trip. We will be doing fundraisers to help with this event. The total cost is $260 with the deposit of $50 due in January.
